PROPERTY INFORMATION & PHILOSOPHY
Our hunting properties are managed for mature bucks with strict attention to access, stand placement, and wind. We lease and manage ground around:
- Junction City, OH 43748 (Junction Farm)
- Lancaster, OH 43130 (Lancaster Farm)
We limit pressure, control entry/exit routes, and rotate stands to keep deer moving naturally. You’ll notice:
- Clean, well-marked stand access (with lifelines installed).
- Diverse setups — hang-ons, ladders, blinds, and shooting houses.
- Food sources & funnels — you’ll be hunting proven spots with history.
👉 Our goal: high success rates, but also long-term herd health. That means letting young deer walk and targeting mature bucks.

FEATHERNETT HUNTING SYSTEM (HOW WE OPERATE)
We’ve built a process-driven outfitting system to maximize your odds:
- Pre-Hunt Prep → You’ll practice at arrival, check your gear, and shoot for stand placement.
- Wind-First Hunting → We prioritize hunting the wind first, but since you’re only here for a week, sometimes calculated risks are necessary — we’ll set stands for multiple winds, but occasionally the best chance requires taking one.
- All-Day Rut Hunts → During peak rut, plan for sunrise to sunset sits.
- Strict Recovery Protocol → Stay in stand until guide clears you. We will access shot, and blood trail. We provide additional Deer Drone Recovery Services to assist in our Recovery Protocol if needed (Optional).
- Technology-Backed Access → GPS stand pins sent to your OnX app for precision entry/exit. (Guest Log-in Provided)
OHIO WEATHER PREP
Weather here changes daily. We’ve hunted snow in October and 80° heat in November.
